'Dreaming piece I' consisting of 33 books has the structure of making readers experience the vague moment of dreaming within.
Upon opening, a narrow window slides to restrict the reader's access to the imagery. The viewer must look to the text to make
sense of the fragmented image. The frustrating action of the paper mechanics reinforces the fleeting nature of the dreams we
fail to capture. Believing that we can reach our-real-selves by looking at our dreams, I have written and drawn my dreams after
waking up in the morning since 2007. By recording dreams and reading them again and again, I noticed that anyone can dream
his or her own dreams even through others's ones because realizations occur only through the reflection with his or her own
world of experience. 'Dreaming piece I' came into being from exploring this possibility of dreaming together and was designed
to be placed in bookcases and boxes.
